This year students will be able to discover how to "Lead With ..." by attending three different breakout sessions on a variety of different topics. Presentation topics in the past have included conflict resolution, learning about and improving your student organization, motivation, leadership in the “real” world, leadership in the movies, servant leadership, and many more. Whether you choose to Lead with Friends, Lead with Integrity or Lead with Compassion, this year's conference has something just for you!

Students will also have a chance to learn how to lead with a purpose, lead for change and lead with vision as they are inspired by the powerful words of our conference keynote speaker, Doc Hendley. Hendley is the founder and President of Wine to Water, a non-profit organization that aims to help the 1.1 billion people worldwide who lack access to clean water. For his incredible leadership, vision and selfless contributions through Wine to Water, Hendley was chosen as one of the Top 10 CNN Heroes of 2009 from a pool of over 9,000 candidates.

difference

Hendley is truly the epitome of an individual who has made a difference. Tens of thousands of people around the world now have access to clean drinking water because of an idea that one day popped into Doc Hendley's head. Hendley realized that just by using his ability to bartend and create relationships with people, he might be able to help the problem. Hendley calls himself proof that anyone, even a "tatooed keg-tapper" can cure what ails the world. Please join us at this year's Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference as we welcome Doc Hendley, and spend a few hours thinking about how we can each make a difference. To learn more about Doc Hendley, click here or purchase his new book (featured below), available for presale to all conference participants.
