Who attends Parent Orientation?
Parents and guardians of transfer students are invited to attend one of the Transfer Student Orientation programs along with their students. This is not mandatory for parents, but will provide you with an opportunity to meet informally with administrators and faculty members to learn more about the academic, social, and financial aspects of The University of Tennessee. When will I receive Parent Orientation information?
Parents of all transfer students will not receive a separate mailing however information for parents is included in the brochure that the transfer students receive beginning in January. [top]
When will the online Orientation registration system open?
Parents of transfer students entering The University of Tennessee in Fall 2010 can indicate that they are attending at the same time as their student. There is a $10 fee for parents to attend. [top]
What are the dates for Parent Orientation?
There are four one-day sessions in 2010. They will be held on April 16 (F), May 21 (F), June 18 (F) and July 12 (M). [top]
