What is the Ignite Program?

The Ignite Program is a unique opportunity for freshmen to learn about opportunities for involvement and life outside the classroom, while meeting other new students and developing leadership skills. IGNITE participants will learn about getting inVOLved and making a difference while attending the University of Tennessee.

Ignite participants continue their leadership at The University of Tennessee as Orientation Leaders, Sorority and Fraternity members, Student Alumni Associates, Student Ambassadors, Alternative Break participants, Resident Assistants, Freshman Council members, Leadership Guides, Ignite Team Leaders, Emerging Leaders and even SGA Presidents! Don't miss out on this incredible leadership experience!

The Ignite Program is divided into the Summit, a fun filled 3 day retreat, and Teams, an 8 week program in the fall for freshmen students. Students can participate in Summit, Teams, or both!

The dates for this year's Ignite Summit are June 25 - 27, 2010.

The kick-off date for Ignite Teams is August 18, 2010.
