I decided on my major because I have always had a passionate desire for science. After taking various science classes in high school, I decided that Chemistry was for me. It came to me so naturally and no matter what I knew about the subject I was always anxious to learn more.

My favorite extracurricular experience was an event called Take Back the Night presented by the Women’s Coordinating Council. It was a night for students and the community to come together to stop rape and domestic violence. Everyone came together to “Take Back the Night” of many victims that have experienced or know someone who has experienced these situations.

My favorite place on campus is the University Center. I love the UC because it can be used for many different purposes. The UC has computers for students to use, Smokey’s Restaurant for students to eat, a bookstore to purchase your every need, a mini store to do some shopping, and a concession stand with quick treats to eat. It is also where many meetings for various organizations are held, as well as a hangout spot for students. It is just like Wal-Mart; it’s all you need and more!
