What is the most important piece of advice you would give new students?
- Stay focused, especially during your first year. It is a lot easier to make good grades and maintain them than it is to dig yourself out of a hole the rest of the time you are at school.
What is your favorite place on campus?
- Neyland Stadium is definitely my favorite place on campus. There is nothing like UT football. I have never felt the feeling that I feel during a football game.
What surprised you most about coming to college?
- I was surprised at how big this school actually is. I knew that was a big school, but I had no idea it was to this caliber. There are tons of different people here at the university. There are people from all over the United States. There are also tons of people from different backgrounds. I went to a 3,000 person high school that was a big school. At UT, I may pass 3,000 students a day walking to class and my never see someone twice. You really have no idea how many people 25,000 people are until you are amongst those 25,000 people.
