The Leadership Guides are a team of undergraduate students who are committed to learning about leadership and serving the campus community as a peer resource team.
What Services Can We Provide You?
Leadership Guides are available to any UT student or organization to provide resources, services, and information about UT. In addition, they are available to present programs to your organization on leadership, motivation, transitioning, and a broad range of additional topics that are free of charge to you and/or your organization. Leadership Guide programs are designed to include and engage every participant to facilitate a learning environment for personal and group development. All programs, handouts, and workshops can be tailored to fit your needs.
Leadership Guides have presented approximately 50 programs during 2008 to over 600 students. The programs were presented to a variety of organizations, and they covered numerous subjects.
Below is a brief listing of some of the organizations that participated in Leadership Guide programs and the topics that they requested:
- First Year Studies: Stress Management
- Engineering Ambassadors: Communication and Teambuilding
- SGA Networking Event: Icebreakers
- Pi Beta Phi: Values, Communication and Teambuilding
- Student Athlete Advisory Committee: True Colors
- Campus Entertainment Board (CEB): Teambuilding
- SGA Freshman Council: Leadership and Integrity
These are simply a few of the programs that were presented. Don’t miss out on the opportunity and assistance that a Leadership Guide can provide you or your organization. To have a Leadership Guide work with you or your organization, simply fill out the Program Request form. Keep in mind that requests must be made at least one week in advance of service to allow for adequate program preparation.
Additionally, our Leadership Guides are responsible for our LIVE! Leadershops. Upcoming Leadershops include:
